Connecticut Retirement Plans and Trust Funds makes €75m commitment

The US public pension has decided to support a Europe focused Fund.

Connecticut Retirement Plans and Trust Funds has committed €75 million to ICG Europe Fund VII. The Fund will primarily focus on investments in mezzanine capital in middle market companies based in Europe.

The $33 billion US public pension has a 32 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 27.8 percent.
