Clarion exec joins Bentall Kennedy as senior advisor

William Krauch has joined the North American real estate advisor’s executive management, in charge of the firm’s investor relations and product development functions.

A former managing director at Clarion Partners has joined Bentall Kennedy’s executive management team. A statement from the North American real estate advisor reveals that William Krauch has joined Bentall Kennedy as a senior advisor. In this newly-created post, Krauch will play a crucial role in the firm’s investor relations and product development functions, particularly in the US. In addition, he will serve on Bentall Kennedy’s group management committee.

Krauch started working at Bentall Kennedy earlier this month. He is based out of San Francisco and reports directly to Gary Whitelaw, chief executive officer for the Bentall Kennedy group of companies.

“Bill Krauch is known for his comprehensive understanding of investor needs and an ability to manage large and globally diverse teams and client relationships,” said Whitelaw in a statement.

Before joining Bentall Kennedy, Krauch served as a managing director of Clarion Partners, where he was involved with global investor relations and product development and was a member of the firm’s investment committee and client capital management team. Prior to his role at Clarion, he served as the global head of marketing and client relations for ING Real Estate Investment Management, where he also served on the firm’s global executive board and as head of its global product committee.

Bentall Kennedy is privately owned by its senior management, British Columbia Investment Management and the California Public Employees’ Retirement System. The firm has offices in Toronto, Vancouver and Seattle.
