CBRE names head of APAC capital advisory

Yvonne Siew has moved on to the role of executive director of CBRE’s global capital markets team in Asia Pacific.

CBRE has appointed Yvonne Siew to lead its Asia Pacific capital advisory team.

As the executive director of global capital markets for the region, Siew will be responsible for providing investment and financial structuring advice for real estate transactions. She will be based in Singapore.

Siew was previously the head of global capital markets for the global property consultancy in China. She joined the company’s Shanghai office in August 2015 in the newly-created role to cater to source, underwrite and execute cross-border transactions.

Siew has more than twenty years of experience of origination, underwriting, structuring and distribution of real estate investment opportunities. Prior to CBRE, she was the head of Asia real estate at Citi Private Bank’s global managed investments team.

Siew has taken over the leadership role from Nick Crockett who left the firm in November.
Crockett was part of the team that created CBRE’s capital advisory function in 2013. He moved to the company from rival firm JLL where he was heading its corporate finance team in the region.
