CBRE Investors hires former AIG RE pro

Peter DiCorpo joins the Los Angeles-based real estate investment firm as chief operating officer. It follows CBRE Investors' appointment last month of former GE Real Estate executive, Shaun O’Connor.

Richard Ellis has added Peter DiCorpo as chief operating officer at the firm. DiCorpo will be responsible for executing the firm’s business plan and its day-to-day operations, and will report to firm president, William Harris.

Prior to joining CBRE Investors, DiCorpo worked at AIG Global Real Estate Investment Corporation, where he has served in various capacities since 1995, including as its chief administrative officer.

The Los Angeles, California-based real estate investment firm has been expanding its executive team in recent months, including its appointment last month of former GE Real Estate executive, Shaun O’Connor, as the firm’s new chief financial officer. O’Connor was previously chief financial officer of the US equity business at GE Real Estate, and also previously chief financial officer for Europe. 

As at the end of September 2008, CBRE Investors had approximately $41 billion in assets under management.
