CBRE hires RREEF research head

Asieh Mansour has been appointed head of Americas research at the brokerage and real estate services firm, departing the property investment arm of Deutsche Bank after 13 years.

CB Richard Ellis Group has hired RREEF’s head of Americas research Asieh Mansour to lead its analytical activities in the region.

The brokerage and property services firm said Mansour would join the firm on 9 May as head of Americas research and senior managing director of global research and consulting. She will be responsible for directing CBRE’s Americas-based analysis, as well as advising the firm’s management on Americas and global economic issues. She will be based in the firm’s San Francisco office.

Mansour departs RREEF, Deutsche Bank’s property investment arm, after serving 13 years as the global macro-economist and supporting investment and acquisition decisions for real estate, infrastructure and private equity. At RREEF, she also was responsible for assessing the impact of global trends on the firm’s fund offerings and strategies.

Mansour will report to Mike Lafitte, CBRE’s president of the Americas, and work closely with Raymond Torto, the firm’s global chief economist, on global research initiatives, the firm added in a statement.
