Brickman hires ex-JER executive

Suzanne Gibson has joined the New York-based private equity real estate firm as vice president helping US and European fundraising efforts and investor relations.

New York-based private equity real estate firm Brickman has hired former JER Partners executive Suzanne Gibson as vice president.

Gibson, previously with JER’s capital markets and client relations team, will work with three other principals raising capital in the US and Europe. She will also assist with investor relations and report to principal Kathy Corton and co-founder Bruce Brickman.

The firm was founded in 1992 and targets opportunistic and core strategies in the US. Brickman’s last acquisition was in November last year, when it bought the office property in New York’s Greenwich Village, 95 Morton Street. According to Real Capital Analytics, Brickman paid $96.5 million for the building.
