BKM Capital Partners raises $387m

The US-based real estate investment management firm has wrapped up its second value-add vehicle above its fundraising target.

BKM Capital Partners achieves the final close for its second value-add industrial fund, BKM Industrial Value Fund II and its co-investment vehicles.

The Fund II raised a total of $387 million, comprising $289.4 million for the main fund, $54.1 million of the co-investment capital and $38 million of non-discretionary co-investment commitment.

As Fund II’s strategy is different from its predecessor, the previous investors did not re-up commitments. Yet, there are 17 investors in Fund II, helping it reach over three times the size of Fund I.

One of the Fund II investors is the Montana Board of Investment and it committed $30 million to the fund.
