Bell Partners recruits fundraiser Bode from UBS

In a push to increase its investor base and list of joint venture partners, the Greensboro-based firm has hired placement agent Brian Bode from UBS.


Bell Partners, the Greensboro-based real estate investment management firm, has appointed Brian Bode as a senior vice president as it seeks to increase its investor base and number of joint venture partners.

In an announcement by the firm, Bell said it had hired Bode for the newly created role from UBS Investment Bank in New York, where he was a “senior relationship manager to pension funds and other investors in North America and Europe”.

Bell Partner’s chief investment officer John Bell said of the appointment: “Brian Bode comes to us with a network of deep institutional relationships and relevant experience in private equity fundraising.” According to Bell, Bode has worked on private fundraisings of more than $7 billion in equity.

Prior to joining UBS, Bode was a managing director at placement agent Atlantic Pacific Capital.

Bell Partners currently manages a real estate portfolio valued at approximately $5 billion. The assets in the portfolio include 55,000 apartments and 2,500 senior living units spread across 16 US states.
