The US public pension has issued an RFP for a consultant for all private asset classes.

The City of Austin Police Retirement System (CAPRS) has issued a request for proposal (RFP) for a new investment consultant to advise the fund across both private and public asset classes.

According to the RFP, the investment consultant will be responsible for providing “advice with regards to private market asset classes” including performing fund manager searches, reviewing fee structures, and potentially recommending investment opportunities.

The deadline for responses to the proposal, which is posted on the CAPRS website, is 23rd February at 5 pm.

The $770 million US public pension has a 20.4 percent allocation to alternative investments.
