AKER ASA to commit to Industry Capital

The Norway-based asset manager is set to make an investment into the Houston-headquartered GP.

Norway-based asset manager AKER ASA revealed to PERE its plans to commit to Industry Capital.

Founded in 1841, AKER ASA makes investments into oil and gas, maritime assets and the marine biotechnology sector. The asset manger invests across a broad range of private real estate sectors. In a conversation with PERE, it noted its plans to commit to a vehicle managed by Industry Capital.

Industry Capital is a Houston-based GP currently in market with their flagship fund, Berkeley Partners Value Industrial Fund VI. The value-add fund makes investments into industrial real estate. Currently, Industry Capital has $3.4 billion in assets under management.
