Webcast: Discovery and survival in Asia amid covid-19

The participants of PERE Asia’s opening panel discuss working in economies starting to reopen while still contending with the impacts of the coronavirus crisis.

Asia’s economies have been the first to start a slow re-opening process after the deadly coronavirus pandemic ground commerce to a halt at the start of the year. But the impacts of the crisis are far from being fully realized. In the first in a series of PERE Asia On-Demand webcasts, four managers and an advisor active in the region’s private real estate markets outline how surviving covid-19’s impact remains high on the agenda while discovering repricing is still an activity in its infancy.

The webcast features Mark Fogle, managing director, Baring Private Equity Asia, Joseph Gagnon, managing director, Warburg Pincus, Chung Keun Kim, managing director, Samsung SRA Asset Management, Christophe Schumacher, global head, real estate, Credit Suisse Asset Management, and Terence Tang, managing director, capital markets, Asia at broker Colliers International. It’s moderated by PEI Media’s senior editor for real estate, Jonathan Brasse.
