Top female executives in real estate are a rare breed, making up just 15 percent of executive management, according to the Diversity and Inclusion Survey 2021 from industry association NAREIM and executive search firm Ferguson Partners. Women who ascend to this level often approach their careers differently from most of their female peers, while effectively navigating many of the obstacles relating to gender.
