The Davis Companies has raised $489 million for its Davis Investment Ventures Fund III, according to a SEC filing. The Boston-headquartered firm began fundraising in 2015 with a $500 million target.
Its previous fund raised $414 million in 2012.
The fund will target value added opportunities in a diverse number of properties in the United States.
