Texas Employees approves $25m commitment

The US public pension has backed a North America-focused fund.

In June 2018, the Employees Retirement System of Texas committed $25 million to Abacus Multi-Family Partners IV. The vehicle was launched in March 2017 with a target size of $500 million.

The $28.5 billion US public pension has an 11 percent target allocation to real estate that currently stands at 9.44 percent.
