South African firm opens fund for foreign institutional investors

Bridge Capital, a South African corporate and property advisor, is launching a €130 million fund to take advantage of South African opportunities. The firm points to IPD, whose world property index suggests the South African market has been one of the best performers in the last six years.

 South African finance and property advisor Bridge Capital aims to raise a €130 million property fund to tap into attractive South African markets.

The firm, which was established in 1999, said the property fund is being structured for foreign institutional investors. Its hopes to hold a first close later this year.

According to IPD’s world property index statistics, South Africa has over the last 6 years been one of the absolute best performers, it pointed out.
