San Jose Police and Fire approves $22m commitment

The San Jose-based pension has backed a European real estate fund.

City of San Jose Police & Fire Department Retirement Plan approved a commitment of $22 million to Tristan European Property Investors Special Opportunities 5, Investment Officer Dhinesh Ganapathiappan confirmed in an email.

The $3.56 billion public pension fund has a 8 percent target allocation to private real estate that currently stands at 7.30 percent.
