Rockspring adds three to UK team – exclusive

Each new hire will cover the UK property markets across one of the firm’s three main business units: transactions, asset management and fund management.

Rockspring Property Investment Management, the London-based real estate investment management firm, has made three appointments to its UK team.

Jamie Younger joins the transaction team as European director, Shaun Hose has been appointed assistant director in the asset management team and Duncan White has joined as assistant director in the fund management team. They will report to transactions partner Hugh Elrington, partner and head of UK Richard Bains and fund management partner Michael Pryer respectively.

Younger joins Rockspring from GE Capital where he was managing director of loan origination. Prior to this, he held positions at Lehman Brothers, Invesco Real Estate and DTZ Debenham Thorpe.

White also joins from GE Capital Real Estate where he was senior asset manager for seven years. Prior to this he worked at ING Real Estate Investment Management.

Hose has 17 years of experience and prior to joining Rockspring he was director of asset management at BNP Paribas Real Estate for five years. Before this, he worked at NB Real Estate and CBRE.

The bolstering of the UK team follows Rockspring’s recent first close of its latest European core-plus/value-added fund – TransEuropean VI. The firm held a €217.5 million first close last month as it aimed to corral €400 million for the fund, which would be the largest raise for Rockspring’s TransEuropean series since it was first launched in 1992.
