PSP Investments CIO steps down

The CIO of Canadian public pension fund departs abruptly.

Daniel Garant, Chief Investment Officer of Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments)resigns. His last day with the investment board was 30 June 2017.

PSP Investments only explained his departure with the reason of “pursuit other career aspiration”. Andre Bourbonnais, current President and Chief Executive Officer, has assumed the role of CIO for now.
