DECONSTRUCTED: Watergate liquidity

For an asking price of $100 million, you can own a piece of history. Or rather, infamy.

The Watergate Complex

According to property services firm Savills, the owner of the Washington DC office and residential complex Watergate is now on the market.

The 10-acre property is most famous as the site of the Democratic National Committee office break-in that eventually led to President Nixon's resignation.

It's also had some famous renters, including Monica Lewinsky and now former US Secretary of State Condaleezza Rice.

At the very least, Savills can claim that the Secret Service guarantees an exceptionally safe environment.
