Ohio Police & Fire approves investment plan for 2017

The long-term goal for the private markets asset class is 8 percent of the total portfolio. 

Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund’s Board approved the 2017 Private Markets Investment Plan, which targets aggregate capital commitments of $175 million to the private markets asset class through 31 January, 2018.

The $15 billion US public pension has a 12 percent target allocation to real estate that currently stands at 10.9 percent.
