NYSTRS decreases real estate debt allocation

The New York pension's target real estate debt allocation is now 7 percent.

New York State Teachers' Retirement System has decreased its target real estate debt allocation to 7 percent from 8 percent.

The $108 billion US public pension has invested in nearly 150 private real estate funds since inception.
