NYSCRF approves over $1.1bn in commitments

The US public pension has backed several real estate vehicles in its latest round of commitments.

New York State Common Retirement Fund has allocated over $1.1 billion-worth of real estate allocation across six real estate vehicles, according to pension funds recent allocation report.

The commitments comprise $300 million to KKR Real Estate Partners Americas III, $300 million to Black Creek Industrial Fund (open-end), $250 million to KSL Tactical Opportunities Fund I, $150 million to KSL Capital Partners Credit Opportunities Fund III, $100 million to KSL Capital Partners COTO Co-Invest I, and $10 million to Windler Co-Invest.

The $268.3 billion US pension has a 9 percent real estate target allocation that presently stands at 9 percent.
