NYSCRF approves €100m commitment

The US public pension has backed a European real estate fund.

New York State Common Retirement Fund has agreed to commit €100 million ($121.6 million) to NREP Nordic Strategies Fund IV Co-Investment, the pension’s October 2020 monthly report states.

The $126.30 billion US public pension has a 9.0 percent target allocation to real estate that currently stands at 8.60 percent.

As illustrated below, the pension fund’s recent commitments are to funds focused on the residential, industrial and healthcare sectors in Europe and North America.
