North Dakota Board of University and School Lands cuts real estate allocation

North Dakota Board of University and School Lands has decreased its exposure to real estate to 14.74 percent at the end of Q2 2019 from 15.21 percent one quarter previously, according to a recently released quarterly investment performance report.

The $4.86 billion Bismarck-based endowment’s allocation to real estate is 0.26 percentage points lower than its 15.0 percent target.

As illustrated in the charts below, North Dakota Board of University and School Lands’ real estate allocation has often fluctuated over the past year, with the endowment’s current allocation almost 1.50 percentage points lower than at the end of Q4 2018.
