Nippon Life to put $180m-plus into RE funds

The Japanese life insurer maintains its real estate investment focus on developed markets.

Nippon Life Insurance said it expects to invest in six to seven real estate funds in the coming 12 months, with the commitment size of $30 million to $40 million each.

The insurer will consider opportunities in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. However, it will not consider emerging markets.
