SDCERS commits $100m to realty debt funds

The US public pension fund pushes the underweight real estate portfolio.

The San Diego City Employees Retirement System (SDCERS) approves a $50 million commitment to the Mesa West Core Lending Fund and $50 million to the MetLife Commercial Mortgage Income Fund.

Both funds are open-ended vehicles.

SBCERS allocates approximately $687 million to real estate investments.
