Mesa West Capital raises $794m

Mesa West Capital has raised $794 million for its Mesa West Real Estate Income Fund IV, according to a SEC filing. The Los Angeles-headquartered firm began fundraising in 2015 with a $900 million target. 

Its previous fund raised $752 million in 2013.

Investors that committed to Mesa West Real Estate Income Fund IV include the San Joaquin County Employees' Retirement Association, the Texas Permanent School Fund and the Indiana Public Retirement System (INPRS).

The fund will target senior debt opportunities in a diverse number of properties in the United States.Â
