KCERA invests in LBA real estate fund

The California-based agency commits up to $30m to LBA Realty's ninth fund.

Kern County Employees Retirement Association committed up to $30 million to LBA Logistics Value Fund IX. LBA Realty focuses on real estate targeted investment within the US. The approved commitment is the pension’s first to a fund managed by LBA Realty.

As illustrated below, the $4.99 billion US based agency allocates 1.4 percent of its investment portfolio to real estate. Alternative investments constitute 6.2 percent of the institution’s entire portfolio.
