Just Closed: Rockwood Capital raises $611m

Rockwood Capital has raised $611 million for its Rockwood Capital Real Estate Partners Fund X, according to a SEC filing. The New York-headquartered firm began fundraising in 2015 with a $1.5 billion target.

Its previous fund raised $678 million in 2013.

Investors that committed to Rockwood Capital Real Estate Partners Fund X include the Public Employees Retirement Association of New Mexico, the Kentucky Teachers' Retirement System and the Minnesota State Board of Investment.

The fund will target value added opportunities in a diverse number of sectors in the United States.
