It is that time of year again to launch the latest PERE Global Awards, the private real estate industry’s most prestigious honors.

Similar to last year’s accolades, the 2025 PERE Awards will be editorially chosen, a process that many felt resulted in less biased and more merit-based selections than with the previous voting system. As always, we welcome your nominations, which you can send in using the form embedded below. You have until midnight (PT) on Friday, November 7 to submit.

Unsurprisingly, the PERE Awards attract a massive amount of interest every year, and many market participants ask us for extensions to compile their nominations. This year, we will be giving our audience a full month to prepare their submissions but will not be granting any extensions. The November 7 deadline is firm.

As with the PERE Awards every year, we have also made some changes to the awards categories in recognition of ongoing market shifts in private real estate. We are introducing two new global awards categories – First-Time Fund Manager of the Year and Net Lease Investor of the Year. At a time when both real estate fundraising and transaction activity have remained stagnant, these two categories acknowledge notable bright spots in the market amid a continued slowdown.

Meanwhile, we have changed Hotels & Leisure Investor of the Year to a global-only category, as industry achievements in the sector are notably fewer in some regions compared with others. At the same time, we are also bringing back the Indirect Firm of the Year global category, given the many standout fundraises, deals and other highlights in the secondaries and multi-manager space.

Once again, readers have until 11:59 pm (PT) on Friday, November 7 to send in their submissions using the form below. Please also carefully review our detailed awards guidelines, since many questions we receive from readers are often addressed there.

The winners and runners up will be announced on Monday, March 2, 2026, and will also be featured in our March 2026 issue.
