INPRS confirms $80m commitment

The US public pension has backed a 400 Capital Management real estate fund.

Indiana Public Retirement System committed $80 million to 400 Capital Asset Based Term Fund II, according to an October 2020 board meeting document.

The 400 Capital Management fund invests in opportunities in residential real estate debt, commercial real estate debt, consumer finance and specialty finance markets.

As illustrated below, real estate makes up 6.5 percent of INPRS’ total investment portfolio. The system has historically committed between $50 million to $100 million to real estate funds.
