Illinois Teachers approves $200m in commitments

The US public pension has backed North America- and Europe-focused funds.

Teachers Retirement System of the State of Illinois has committed $100 million each to PIMCO Bravo Fund III and Oaktree Real Estate Debt Fund II.

The $45 billion US public pension has a 15 percent target allocation to real estate that currently stands at 15.5 percent.
