Hodes Weill & Associates, the New York-based advisory firm, has recruited a principal in London as it seeks to broaden its European business. Zeynep Fetvaci starts her new position this week with responsibility for coverage of institutional investors in the region, the firm stated.
Fetvaci joined from Peakside Capital Advisors, the European spin-out from Bank of America Merrill Lynch's real estate principal investments platform, where she served as head of business development and investor relations. At Merrill Lynch, she was vice president and performed the same function. Prior to that role, Fetvaci was head of marketing strategy for prime brokerage in the EMEA and the Pacific Rim region at the bank. She began her career at Morgan Stanley.
David Hodes, co-founder and managing partner at Hodes Weill, said the company's new hire would “broaden its reach in this important market.” Fetvaci added in a statement that she would be helping in advisory and private placement assignments for clients.
Hodes Weill has been advising London-based private equity real estate firm Resolution Property with its latest fund, for which a final close is thought to be imminent.
