GIC looks to raise long-term real estate allocation

The Singaporean sovereign wealth fund sets to beef up real estate investments.

GIC revealed in its latest annual report that it sets the long-term allocation to real estate investments to between 9 percent and 13 percent for its Policy Portfolio and GIC expects it to outperform the Reference Portfolio over a 20-year period.

Its current real estate allocation is seven percent, which stays the same as previous fiscal year.
