GE Real Estate names Thierry Leleu replacement

Marianna Nitsch, general counsel for GE’s French business, has been promoted to general counsel for Europe following the appointment of Thierry Leleu to European managing director of the firm’s new investment management division.

The reorganisation at GE Real Estate has continued with a replacement for Thierry Leleu being named after the former general counsel’s promotion to managing director in Europe of GE’s new investment management business.

Leleu is being replaced by Marianna Nitsch, who has been general counsel for GE Real Estate in France since September last year.

GE is in the process of setting up a global investment management business in real estate to rival the likes of Morgan Stanley and Tishman Speyer, which has triggered the personnel changes.

Earlier this month it was revealed GE’s chief executive in Europe, Olivier Piani, would be leaving to head of Allianz’s new global real estate investment platform.
