Fort Worth ERF approves $25m commitment

The US public pension has backed a North America-focused fund.

Fort Worth Employees’ Retirement Fund’s Board of Trustees approved a $25 million real estate allocation to Ascentris Value Add Fund III. This is Fort Worth’s first investment with Ascentris and is part of the high growth allocation of the portfolio.

The $2.3 billion US public pension has a 13 percent target allocation to real estate that currently stands at 5.59 percent.
