Former Lehman banker joins London firm

Natalie Howard, who was responsible for the day-to-day management of Lehman Brothers’ property debt fund activities in Europe and Asia, has joined London-based Burfield Capital as a senior partner.


A former Lehman Brothers real estate debt expert has joined London-based firm Burfield Capital.
Natalie Howard, who was responsible for Lehman’s real estate debt fund activities in Europe and Asia, has become a senior partner at the company.

In a statement, Burfield said the firm had €400 million of funds under management with current mandates to invest and manage assets in Europe and Asia.

Prior to joining Lehman Brothers in 2007, Howard ran the European Real Estate Finance group at Barclays Capital, having set up the ECLIPSE CMBS platform.

She was also a founding member of Morgan Stanley’s ELoC CMBS programme.
