Fidelity boosts European roster

The direct real estate business of Fidelity International, a subsidiary of the US institutional asset manager Fidelity, has hired Aymeric de Seresin from Jones Lang LaSalle. De Seresin will focus on France and Spain in particular.

Fidelity International’s real estate business has recruited Jones Lang LaSalle’s Aymeric de Seresin to boost its expansion into European markets.

De Seresin is a director within Jones Lang LaSalle’s European capital markets group and will join Fidelity in September. Based in London, he will cover Western European markets, focusing in particular on France and Spain, taking responsibility for acquisitions, asset management and disposals.

The company said the appointment signalled the first in a number of top level appointments to create a European fund management team across Fidelity’s network of European offices. The team is being led by Keith Sutton, director of European real estate.

Sutton said the firm’s new recruit had been focussing on the logistics sector for a number of years which fitted in with its investment strategy and value-add approach.
