FCERA approves $150m commitment

The US public pension has backed a real estate vehicle managed by Harrison Street Real Estate Capital.

Fresno County Employees’ Retirement Association confirmed a $150 million commitment to Harrison Street Core Property Fund (open ended) at its March 2021 Board of Trustees meeting, a contact at the pension told PERE.

The $5.71 billion US public pension has allocated 4.20 percent of its full investment portfolio to real estate.

As illustrated below, the pension’s private real estate commitments have been mostly to North American vehicles employing a variety of strategies.
