Equity International Partners raises $339m

Equity International Partners has raised $339 million for its Zell Equity International Fund VI, according to a SEC filing. The Chicago-headquartered firm began fundraising in 2015 with a $600 million target.

Its previous fund raised $650 million in 2011.

Investors that committed to Zell Equity International Fund VI include the Teacher Retirement System of Texas and the University of Michigan.

The fund will target opportunistic opportunities in a diverse number of sectors globally.
