DTZ hires former Morgan Stanley pro

The property services firm has hired Amy Barklam to co-ordinate the distribution of its global indirect funds.

DTZ, the global property services firm, has hired former Morgan Stanley  professional Amy Barklam as a director in its capital markets team.

Barklam will be responsible for co-ordinating the distribution of DTZ’s indirect property vehicles, the firm said.

Barklam was most recently at Morgan Stanley where she specialised in debt origination and distribution for clients in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. She left in 2005 as executive director in the debt capital markets team after 11 years at the firm to pursue further studies and has now joined DTZ.

Barklam said in a statement that a global platform was vital given the asset class’ increasingly global nature.

DTZ operates the Aurora Europe Property fund of funds which targets value-added real estate fund managers in core and emerging European markets.
