Alternative investment placement firm CP Eaton Partners has increased its London-based team to five with the relocation of Franklyn Chang, who was previously based in the firm's Connecticut office, and the hires of Christophe Pietersen and Stephanie Brendel.
Anne Gales, head of the firm’s European office, said Pietersen and Brendel had strong capital raising experience in real estate, private equity and infrastructure, while Chang was an expert in the hedge fund space.
Chang will lead the firm's hedge fund activities in Europe.
Pietersen joins as vice president having been an associate director in the private equity funds group at UBS Investment Bank in New York, where he focused on origination, due diligence and placement of third party private equity and infrastructure products globally.
Brendel previously played a key role in project management and origination relating to coverage of European general partners for Bear Stearns' private funds group.
The hires increases the number of professionals at CP Eaton's London office from two to five.
