Cordea Savills appoints CFO

The fund management business owned by property services firm Savills, appoints industry veteran Peter Johnson from UK house builder Taylor Wimpey as it looks to bolster its business. It is the second senior management change at the firm in less than a month.

Cordea Savills, the London-based firm, has continued making senior executive changes with the appointment of Peter Johnson as chief financial officer responsible for its group and fund finance and operations.

His appointment comes less than one month after Cordea Savills promoted Michael Flynn to the role of global head of institutional business from his previous role as managing director for institutional business for Asia and Australia.

Johnson joined from house builder Taylor Wimpey where he was chief financial officer. Prior to that, he was group finance director of Henderson Administration Group. He has worked in areas including: company finance, treasury, tax, IT, investor relations, facilities management and risk management operations.

He has also held a number of other senior financial positions sector including finance director of Norwich Union Life, director and chief financial officer of Pearl Assurance, director of finance development at AMP, and group financial controller of The Hammerson Property Investment and Development Corporation.
