Newport Beach, California-based Buchanan Street Partners has appointed Dominic Petrucci as chief financial officer.
Petrucci was previously chief operating officer of Cornerstone Real Estate Funds where he worked on fund offerings totaling approximately $860 million (€599 million). Prior to that, Petrucci was president of Koll Development Company’s Intermountain Division, and also served as chief financial officer at Koll International, Kitchell Corporation and Koll Construction.
In his new role at Buchanan Street, Petrucci will be responsible for corporate finance, investment accounting and reporting, information technology, risk management and regulatory compliance.
Earlier this year, the firm, which is a subsidiary of US investment management firm The TCW Group, added Wayne Brandt as managing director in its Los Angeles office, overseeing investments in value-add opportunities in the area. Brandt was previously with RBS Greenwich Capital, where he was managing director and head of its West Coast real estate finance group.
Buchanan Street Partners manages investment funds on behalf of pension funds, insurance companies, high net worth individuals, and family offices. The firm has made approximately $3 billion worth of real estate investments through the funds.
