Bell Partners raises $285m

Bell Partners has raised $285 million for its Bell Institutional Fund VI, according to a SEC filing. The Greensboro-headquartered firm began fundraising in 2016 with a $400 million target. 

Its previous fund raised $425 million in 2015.

Investors that committed to Bell Institutional Fund VI include the Pennsylvania Public School Employees' Retirement System.

The fund will target value added opportunities in multifamily/residential sectors in the United States.Â
