The US real estate consultant is considering opening a London office and has hired a managing director for Europe.
 Glenn Rufrano has returned to the firm he co-founded 30 years ago, with plans to launch a new real estate fund in the coming year.   
 Amid an anticipated rise in exit cap rates, institutional investors are expected to shift their emphasis to non-core real estate strategies in the US in their continued search for yield.   
The global real estate services firm has added two to its China capital markets team from CBRE in an effort to strengthen ties between the firm’s Hong Kong and China markets.

 Robert Lester, a veteran of The Blackstone Group, will co-lead the Australian financial services firm’s real estate business in the Americas.  
To date, direct investment in the region’s commercial real estate has surged 25 percent year-on-year, led by the larger markets of Japan, China and Australia, according to a recent report.
