Tacoma Employees’ Retirement System has issued a request for proposal for an investment consultant, a contact at the pension informed PERE. The pension’s current investment consultant, Wilshire Associates whose contract set to expire in March 2022, will also be invited to resubmit a bid.
Earlier this year, the pension disclosed its plans to issue an RFP, as previously reported by PERE.
As illustrated below, as of June 30, 2021, TERS’ real estate portfolio was valued at $198 million, which accounts for 9.4 percent of its investment portfolio. The pension’s chief investment officer is Timothy Allen.
